About Me

I'm Bhonandh, a Network Admin at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where "five nines" of uptime is what the business expects, not what it hopes for. I build and keep alive the infrastructure behind revenue-critical systems
Networks don't fail quietly, and breaches don't announce themselves. Somewhere there's a rogue IoT device on a VLAN it has no business touching, a firewall rule that drifted out of policy, a service account with more access than anyone remembers granting. An outage or an attacker needs only one of those to be true. I assume one already is, and my job is to find it before anyone else notices. Most days, they don't.
Underneath the war stories: enterprise LAN/WAN, wireless, Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, and network automation in Python, backed by a Master's in Computer Science and a CCNA I treated as a checkpoint, not a finish line.
What I'm chasing next: deeper cloud-native networking, infrastructure-as-code at scale, and the problems that don't have a Cisco TAC article yet. The ones where you open Wireshark at midnight and start asking better questions.
Most people only think about the network when it stops. My job is to make sure they never have to. If you're building something that has to work, and work quietly, let's talk.
